En İyi 100 Steampunk Filmi, Steampunk temalı filmlerle ilgili orijinal bir sıralama yaptım. Bu sıralamayı Steampunk gruplarındaki okuyucuların yanıtlarından oluşturdum. Ayrıca verilen yanıtları filmin çıkış tarihine göre sıraladım.

Steampunk Nedir?

Kısaca açıklamak gerekirse, Steampunk aslında bilim kurgunun bir alt türüdür. Bu tür filmlerde yarı fantastik yarı bilim kurgu buharlı makinalar ile erken gelen gelişmiş bir teknoloji sağlanmıştır. Zaman olarak genelde Viktorya Dönemi İngiltere’si ya da Amerikan “Vahşi Batı” da geçer.

Steampunk aslında alternatif bir sanayi devrimi çağını içerir. Bu alternatif endüstriyel çağda buharla çalışan her türlü makina bulabilirsiniz. Bu çağda devasal, hantal ve devamlı bozulan robotlar görebilirsiniz. Bu türün oyunu, kitapları ve animeleri mevcuttur.
